California Dreamin - where everyone plays Cali
We are holding Cali Dreamin this year at Indy Lake on the famed picnic course. We will have the permanent baskets installed for this tournament.
Last year the chili cookoff was such a success we are bringing it back. Joe Anttila will attempt to defend his crown against stiff competition. I would say the favorites are Joe, John Davis and Alan Schack. (Davis vs. Janttila redux)
CHILI COOKOFF REGISTRATION
PLEASE EMAIL [email redacted] to reserve your spot in the chili cookoff. If you have a name for your chili please indicate that also. Please make enough Chili so that up to 72 people would be able to have a small taste. If you don't make enough chili then your chances of winning will be less. We will have outlets available so you are encouraged to bring a crock-pot. The 101 will provide bowls/spoons and napkins. If you want to spruce up your area to help your 'presentation' score then by all means go ahead!

Dude! Seriously, who loses their cell phone on a a mountain with more than 2000 feet of verticle drop and gets it mailed back to them?
Mike Fortunato January 5, 2009 at 12:13pm
The tourney is shaping up very nicely! If anyone has questions about California Dreamin' please contact Scott White. My cell phone was lost on a mountain in VT and is being mailed back to me sometime this week.

Everyone who wants to play in Cali Dreamin:
Practice putting on ice. It's not easy. You might want to bring a knee-pad (volleyball style) to help stabilize yo self.

The word is that the baskets are installed, amigo. Cali Dreamin should be all set to go.
Chris Jackson January 4, 2009 at 5:37pm
Just a question. I know we're waiting for poles from DGA so that we can install the baskets at Indy Lake. Let's say they aren't in our possession by the time Cali Dreamin rolls around next Saturday. Is there a plan B?
Pete Crist December 15, 2008 at 6:40pm
Might have to put some Discraft in the bag, on account of the delightful Cali Dreamin drawings that will be stamped upon them. Nice work Fortch.

I hereby register for the AM2 division. I began my new, vigorous training regimen this morning by sleeping in and playing video games.

I feel that I may attempt to make the venture over to this extravaganza.
