Hey Everyone,
Good Shootin' at the 2nd annual "Break the Chains" disc golf tournament! Thanks for coming out!
Again, thanks to everyone who helped set-up, take down, prize out, etc... And thanks to all of you who brought baskets!
Sorry about the confusion with the prizes! We were just trying to rush too much to get you all on your way home. I think we got it all straightened out though.

Currently, the weather situation looks reasonably good for our tournament according to Accuweather, Wunderground, and The Weather Channel, with the greatest possibility for storms coming in the very early morning before the tournament, and after 6pm or so when the tournament is finished.

Riley County has 7 surrounding counties. If we include all of them, then there is a good likelihood that we won't spend much time playing. We will have a Weather Radio at tournament central. Our volunteers will be monitoring the situation throughout the day. If there is a tornado in a nearby county heading our way, I am sure that the National Weather Service will quickly issue a Tornado Warning for Riley County if they have not already done so. Does is just have to be a waring in Riley or if there is Tornado waring in one of the surrounding counties will the horn blown then also?

Weather policy....
There may be severe weather for the tournament on Saturday. Here's how we will handle it:
If there is a Severe Weather (Thunderstorm or Tornado) WARNING (not a Watch) during the tournament, we will blow an air-horn to halt the tournament. Play will resume when the Warning expires.
If we are unable to resume play in a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the Tournament Director, then we will do one of the following:

Severe weather probable Saturday , I took off work for this tourney and it will be my first , hope it doesn't get cancelled I will play in the rain a nasty tornado tailwind would be exciting;)
