The Bobis Ace Race had 39 players this year. There were a total of 4 aces at a shortened Raintree Park on Saturday. Between all four aces we paid out a Grand Total of $1,410!!! Jeff Bauman and Bill Kink were the only two members to hit. Bill aced the very last hole he played to split the super pool with Jeff. They each walked away with $470! Two non-member aces were hit by Nolan Sanders and Dakota Rockafellow both players received $235 each! It was a fun day of golf that brought the Bobis 2013/2 ... more

The BOBIS Super Pool will donate a Super Pool disc to the 1st Super Pool member Ace. I will donate something for the 1st regular non-Super Pool Ace. Discraft schwag and the MCCG will also donate for last Ace and most metal hits w/out an Ace. Get some!

Do u use your own discs? Or is it just like the brys ace race?

Jay B   April 3, 2014 at 8:46am

use your own, the discraft ace race(brys ace race) is the one that has a players pack you use for the throws

Nate Buban    April 3, 2014 at 1:49am

Singles event. 18 holes, 18 throws. Simple as that. No putting or chain swishing or you lose your next tee shot. The only chain noise you should hear out there is an ace! See everyone Saturday!

You are too kind Jay. But this league commemorates Mike Bobis, not Nate Buban.

Jay B   April 3, 2014 at 5:01pm

both gentlemen worth recognizing, you did a great job representing bobis this season

Nate Buban   April 4, 2014 at 10:56am

Hahaha thanks Jay.

Jay B    April 2, 2014 at 5:23pm

I think there is some confusion in the about section, the bobis doubles league runs through the winter and is now over, the bobis ace race is a singles event

Will the random draw for partners be by division or just a random draw no matter what division you play?? #6527

if you are not going to be at the event how do we get our membership stuff?

Nate Buban   March 31, 2014 at 5:09pm

You can see John or myself at MNL at Firefighters

Nate Buban    March 24, 2014 at 12:38am

The Bobis Super Pool will carry over to this event for members only it totals $396. WOW! The regular ace pool carry over for this event will be $161. The regular ace pool will be split among all aces for the day. Even if you are not a member you are still eligible for the added cash from the regular ace pool. The Super pool will split among all member aces for the day. 2 rounds of 9 holes. Should be a fun day of golf.
