The event went very well. I was glad I attended. I am looking forward to next year's WBDGW. Chadwick was very professional with the event and the pot luck was delicious. My 12 yr. old son, August, shocked me by out-driving me pretty much all day (which isn't really that hard, I am no champion driver). We played all 24 regulation holes and had a great time. Thanks.

There are still plenty of openings for this weekend event. Play one or both days. Its a Worldwide event to promote the sport. Grab someone who is interested in learning how to play. Bring them out to get helpful hints and catch a clinic to make it an educational a well as fun time. C'mon disc golfers!! Give a lil back of what you've learned and help promote the sport. Potluck BBQ,players packs and a weekend of fun. See you there!!!

This event is a day of disc golf & expanding the sport to new players. There will be competitive & non competitive play, you are welcome to come out & play 2 rounds for a small trophy or show up anytime you like, either day & pick up your players pack. Hang out, play some disc golf, enjoy some potluck BBQ & have fun.
I will have a shirt & Disc for the 1st 50 people who sign up, after that there will be a waiting list & I will have them available at a later date.

I am interested in registering just to get two WBDGW discs and tees. The confusion is, Chadwick, that WBDGW has never been a tournament, or had classes for play. It is just not a tournament. Originally, the 4 sites/ clubs with the most registered and/or photographed participants won 9 Mach IV baskets from the organizers nationally. That is how Timber Park in Estacada, OR (not a host this year!?) got half if its original baskets.
This is not a big problem for me, I just want to play and am ... more

This event is geared for all players, new & advanced. It is setup so you can come out & play either day you can make it.
Both days will be setup the same, that way if you cant make it to one day you can make it to the other.
So, 2 days with 2 rounds each day, with players packs, potluck BBQ & trophies for each separate day.
You can play both days if you like but you will only receive 1 players pack, the second day if you choose to play it would be for fun. WBDGW is about getting o ... more

so is the tournament 4 rounds of just the regular 12 hole layout? or is it two separate days or 2 rounds each? i think that it would be cool to bring the family out and see what its about!

I'll take one of the JLS drivers,Chadwick. A 170-172 would be awesome. This sounds like a great time so HURRY UP AND GET ENTERED PEEPS!! What will be the course lay-out? I'm hoping the regular with a few added holes to make it 18. Just wondering.....

Pay Pay was up & ready through discgolfscene but Pete from DGScene emailed me & said he is having issues with it.
So i created my own PayPal registration available on club website.

http://abdiscgolf.com/event-registration/wbdgw

As far as the discs go, last year it was the JLS Driver & Omega Super Soft putter, but I am not sure if the same for this year, they have not returned my calls yet.

when is the pay pal registration going to be up on this site?

Chadwick - Acerbinky    April 6, 2011 at 12:34am

Unfortunately No sign ups on day of event. I need the pre registrations for pre-ordering the players packs. Besides, Leverich is a relatively small park & it might sell out before then.
You can pay through paypal on the DGScene or pay me in person at one of our 4 weekly events.
