Due to frost and winter bowling tournaments we will be golfing, bowling, then disc golfing in that order. We had frost last Saturday and knew this would be coming. Well, it is here so we will adjust accordingly.

The worst score anyone can card during any activity is an 8 on any golf hole, disc golf hole, or bowling frame. It is not hard to figure out how to score for disc golf or ball golf, but bowling is a different scoring method so here is how it will work for this event:
Each person will play 18 holes of golf in the morning.
We will bring the competition indoors and each person will bowl 18 Frames.
We will add up the scores and then head out to the disc golf course. Warning, we will be skirting daylight so there will not be a lot of time in between sports.
THANKFULLY, Sunnybrook is stocked with food and beer!
Scoring for bowling will be similar to scoring in golf:
Each frame you will have two chances to clear the lane (all 10 pins on the deck).
A strike = a birdie or 2.
A spare = a par or 3.
A 9 count after the frame has ended (both throws) gets you a bogey or 3 + 1 pin left for 4.
An 8 count after the frame has ended (both throws) gets you a double bogey or 3 + 2 pins left for 5.
Etc ...
Since there is a max of 8 on any given hole / frame between golf, disc golf, and bowling, in bowling, you will have to leave a 5 count on the deck after both throws are completed to get an 8.
We will have a few frames to warm up before we play.
This means you will never score over an 8 on any hole / frame for any of the 3 sports.
For golf, I think we will be using the short mens tees.
For disc golf, we will have to judge the daylight on tee pad per division. We are guessing shorts for the women and masters.

We have had the 3 Course Challenge event for years, now we are looking to see who is up for the 3 Sport Challenge. Do you have what it takes?
