Disc golf singles tournament
About this tournament
**Post your Name/PDGA in the Talk section of the event to register**
**if no PDGA# send e-mail in personal message to tourney director**
The $20 entry fee is split as follows per participant
$2 goes to the Winter Point Series
$9 goes to Charity
$9 goes to Event Payout
Lunch will be provided at each event by the locals... last year we had some pretty awsome spreads. All included in the entry.
The point series is simple. Every time a player participates in an event they should enter the same division. In doing so, they will get a point for themself and a point for every player in their division that they beat. At the end, the top 30% of the field for each division will be payed out the money collected.
The final event will be at Sims Park in Euclid. It will be a PDGA Sanctioned Ice Bowl, worth double points for all participants.
Each event will payout to those who participate. just as with the PDGA...
pros = cash... ams = merchandise
The charity will rotate annually. Last year it was the Akron/Canton Food Bank.($2020.75 raised)*** lets beat it ***
This year the Charity will be The Cleveland Food Bank. It is a Four Star Charity with a Rating of 62.61 out of 70. 94.9% of all donations go to assisting the less fortunate with a wide array of services that go way beyond just handing out food. Open your heart and huck plastic for a good cause.
Each event's proceeds will be set aside to be added together with the next... All money raised will be donated at one time at the end of the series. less

Joshua Lammerding January 8, 2012 at 5:43pm
Had an awesome time today! Some of the best and worst golf I've ever played, but I still managed to take home 1st for MA2, next time I'll bring some more Warren guys if I can get any of em out of the house lol. Can't wait til Hudson on the 22!
PK Deaner January 8, 2012 at 5:14pm
This was a great tourney! Great tourney directors!! Great competition!! Great COURSE!!!! I agree with Jay Kovach that Medina deserves first class tee pads on every hole. With its history and how great of a course that it is, it should be done.
Tom Randau January 7, 2012 at 9:53pm
I sure hope more than 35 show up to play. Should be a good one with the weather being nice and all for January. I'm also glad to see PK playing with the younger guys again..LOL. good luck tomorrow everyone!
Tyler Frew - 45639 January 7, 2012 at 8:07pm
Thank you for your recommend change in divisions. I didn't realize there were only 4 divisions. Please put me in AM1. See tou tomorrow.
eric centanni January 7, 2012 at 11:50am
We did all shorts last year because of daylight, it will be the same this year.
Mitch Renwick January 7, 2012 at 9:22am
Sorry you have to drop out Tim.
Ian, I believe that last year everyone played shorts? I'm not sure if this year is changing.
Tyler, I have you in Int but based on your rating and tournament history I would recommend that you move up to MA1, with no rec division, and the weather being an equalizer, most people in all divisions have moved up one.
Turn out is looking great, cant wait for Sunday.
Ian Kuehn January 6, 2012 at 11:35pm
what tees re pros playing? or is it everyone all shorts?
Tim Krosse January 6, 2012 at 6:25pm
While celebrating the arrival of 2012, I umm, was boogying on the dance floor and twisted my ankle harder than I can spin a valkyrie, and won't be able to play this Sunday. Boooo. Best of luck Sunday to all at Roscoe, one of the best disc golf locations on the planet and happy new year as well!
