Well, I am the TD, and we run into this same complaint every year. Quite frankly, it's pretty annoying. Either know the rules or don't post negative comments. Here is how it works. The Am weekend is a part of 2 different point series (NorCal and Steady Ed). As stated by the PDGA, you are allowed to remain in the same division you began the year in, within that series only, no matter your rating. In other words, if you started the year off in NorCal as an Am2 player, and your rating climbs over 935, you are allowed to remain in Am2 as long as it is a NorCal series event. If it is not an event in the series you are participating in, than you must follow the rating rule of 935+ is Am1. I keep track of this, and will act accordingly. Trust me, there are "Baggers" in EVERY Am division. Perhaps you should worry about your own game and not everyone elses?
