2014 Alum Creek "Are You Yeti?" Ice Bowl
About this tournament
This tournament is a charity event. Can goods will be accepted, as well as donations. These donations as well as tournament proceeds will go directly to PIN. PIN helps Delaware County residents with immediate emergency needs possibly created by job loss, break-up of the family, illness, death, or other unexpected financial emergencies. PIN works directly with the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
Players Pack:
The first 44 pre-paid registrants will receive one (1) custom hot stamp "Are You Yeti?" disc. The two disc choices will be Innova's Roc3 or Tern. There are only 22 of each. They will be given out on a first come first serve basis the day of the tournament during player sign-ins. Register early to make sure you get one of these wall hangers.
Chili Cook-Off:
The chili cook off is open to anyone who would like to enter. Voting will be done by the golfers during the lunch break. Each golfer will get one automatic vote. Additional votes can be made for $1 = 1 vote, $2 = 2 votes, you get the idea. Will get something put together as a prize for the winner. And all votes are a donation directly to help less fortunate people in Delaware County. Just bring your chili, in a crock pot.
*Side note: I am worried about power situations if a ton of people bring chili, so if anyone has a gas generator they would be willing to let us use I'll pay for gas. I will have a few catering trays with sterno's.
Prizes/CTP's:
Flywood is providing all wood custom engraved discs as AM trophies. There will be a chance to win concert tickets from PromoWest Productions. Also, who doesn't love swag? Well we're trying to put some together. So if you know anyone who would like to donate to a great cause, please let us know.
