So you have to be a pdga member to win anything in Michigan tournaments now wtf!
no. This is a proposal from the MDGO to begin cutting back on Bagging. it would only apply if you have never had a PDGA# therefore it does not renew a old number. If you have a problem with it sorry take it up with them, we are just following the direction they direct us. It is only in or for FE's this is not an A3 policy, although we agree with anything that will begin to cut back on bagging.

What's the layout for am2?
john you are confusing tourneys. it will be 2 rounds of ?? all short tees. if the weather is good you will get more holes if crappy it will be 2 rounds of 18. party is doing the 24 and 18.
no. I got that much. but as of right now its 2 rounds. one round 24 holes on what course. and 2nd round 18 holes on what one. that's what I was tryin to get at. sorry
no you are looking at the party of the ponds this event does not say anything about 1 round of 18 and 1 round of 24 just 2 rounds of ?? number of holes will be driven by attendance and weather. if we fill or go slightly over the 144 cap we MAY play more holes but weather will be the larger determining factor to how many holes the players will play.

Additionally we have an option for players who might want to play and can't afford it. if you work for a company or know a company that is willing to sponsor the event you can play on their dime.
Get a check for $130.00 or $140.00 if not a current PDGA number and your sponsor pays your entry fee.
This does not cover the optional ace pool, park fees or P2P but it is a good start for sure. Get the check to us early enough and you would be eligable for the 45 free discs supplied by discraf ...

3 players who registered did not pay the correct fees.
If you are not current you must pay the $10 PDGA Temp fee.
Sean Webb, Paul Munger, Jeffrey Meldrum
You will be expected to pay these fees or supply written proof at the event to play. If you renew you must print the receipt from the PDGA and bring it with you.

Registration is open online here on this site now.
We do not have cashless pre registration for this event.
its like this at all mdgo featured events this year.
only for non members correct?
yup
the PDGA gets the money and it is only for 1st and 2nd place in AM2, AM3 men or womens divisions.
right, if you dont have a number. But it does not apply to current and non current members
that is correct bryan.
wonder how many new members they get. Would the club be mad for not selling the discs or the player for giving up payouts
good point. as a player looking for prize i would be upset, because the player decided to enter the event without a number, maybe its there first time playing in a tournament. i guess theres a lot of possible out comes. i guess im thankful i have a number. if i only i could throw a disc like john then i wouldnt have to play am2!
I dont remember voting on this they just force feed these new rules and whatever and we have to sit there and.take it sort of like our fed govt. **** the pdga at least ask US what we think before putting something forward!?
hahaha, you tell em harper.
its all about the baggers !! and think its only for players that have not had any pdga raiting , but not sher ?
this is not a PDGA think but a MDGO thing. the MDGO proposed this idea, this is not an A3 thing you will find it at all MDGO FE, as it a way to start blocking bagging.
see the comment below under sheldon bowen about this policy. it is a good thing for MDGO events and to prevent bagging.
This will affect a VERY small number of people. Non PDGA members playing in Am2 or Am3 that take 1st or 2nd place at 12 events. This will affect a VERY small number of people. Non PDGA members playing in Am2 or Am3 that take 1st or 2nd place at 12 events. This was due to NUMEROUS complaints at the State Championships of non PDGA members perhaps not playing the appropriate divisions. Am2 and Am3 are the only divisions with any significant numbers of non PDGA members at the State Championships thus only those two divisions.
thanks mark
