Hey everyone, at long last, the 2013 LCM Ice Bowl registration page is open. Go to KSULCM.ORG to check it out. The tournament date is Saturday, February 23rd. The entry fee is $15 for Students, $20 for others. We will no longer receive food items for registration. Instead, players may collect pledges to earn incentive gifts--minis, t-shirts and discs. 2012 Manhattan Area Ace Race Analysis

I have compiled all of the vital statistics you could possibly want on a spreadsheet, which I will make available to everyone shortly. As you might expect, overall, players got better each round, and hole 18 saw the most action.

Here is a summary of some of the more interesting information contained in it:
Players:
48 people registered for the Ace Race and received their Players Packs.
46 players actually competed.
44 players turned in their cards.

Aces:
11 players hit at least one Ace.
13 total Aces were reported.
Of those,
5 occurred on hole 18,
8 on the remaining holes.
By Round
3 Aces were recorded in round 1,
4 in round 2, and
6 in round 3.

Metal:
52 total Metal Hits were reported.
Of those,
30 occurred on hole 18,
22 on the remaining holes.
By Round
15 Metal Hits were recorded in round 1,
18 in round 2, and
19 in round 3.

Multiples:
34 players got at least one Metal Hit and/or Ace.
23 players got multiple hits (Metal or Ace).
Of the 23 players who got multiple hits, 12 hit the same hole more than once.
