For anybody who didn't read or understand this in the posting for this event. Don't blame A3disc for your missing this detail or not being able to understand. Discs with names or writing on them were not acceptable as Dot's! It was stated in the listing for this event.
Tees cannot be asked to be changed 5 minutes before the players meeting.

I will have discs for DOTS and discs for bribes so we three can play together
Scott White November 24, 2010 at 7:17pm
"Groups are randomly assigned with preferred grouping possible with bribe to the event. Bribes must be at least 1 of the following items:
An additional new disc used for Dots
$5 cash will be used to add to the dot pot prizes.
Donate a toy for Hudson Mills “Toys for Tots†collection program. Toys must be turned into tournament staff to be recognized, must be new and in the original package.
Each single bribe will allow 1 player to request 1 other person in his group. Additional bribes will allow for additional requests."
I love it!

Cannot run events at ann arbor city parks. They have fees that are way to high and other hoops you have to jump through to utilize there parks.
We will NOT try to run a hidden tournament there as somebody may report us and we are not willing to pay the fines associated with this.
Other people running events or leagues at city parks do so at there risk we will not risk the possible trouble associated with that.
Scott who? There is no Scott associated with A3Disc.

Martin Thoburn November 17, 2010 at 11:05pm
Scott, do you know why this is not being held at brown park? does the city forbid tournaments? Peter may have asked the same questions last year, but I don't know the answer. seems like the only tournament that is appropriate for brown park. that course needs some love.
Scott White November 10, 2010 at 8:39pm
Oh young Peter, how short of a memory you have.
peter kunoff › November 18, 2009 at 12:13pm
why not brown this year?
peter kunoff November 10, 2010 at 8:18pm
Just curious why this hasn't moved back to Brown park now that it is available?!?
Brooke Plantz November 10, 2010 at 7:55pm

My only suggestion is to make groups as BIG as possible. Groups of 8 work great. You want to see as many ace runs as possible plus "ain't nothin but a party Y'all"
William Gilbert November 9, 2010 at 10:09am
Our Ace Race is different then the Discraft Ace Race's.
For your $15 in cash entry fee and either $5 or a new disc you will be entered to play in the event.
The $15 goes into the ace pool, which will be split between all people who get an ace. the $5 (used to buy merch for dots) or a new disc goes into the dot pot prize pool.
Ace's are obvious.
Dots are awarded everytime you hit metal on your drive. This would be the pole, basket face, chains, top etc. Aces do not count as dots ...
