About this tournament
This is a fun Ace race challenge created by Crazy Mike Anderson http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/5677 to be held on 12-31-09 hole #6 @ Greenway Park starting at 1:00 pm. His objective is to provide fun and encouragement for players of all ages before the new year & possibly hold it as a new tradition for years to come.
Players 12 and older pay $5.00 to enter. Players 11 and under pay nothing to enter.
Rules for all aged players: Players will throw in 2 disc intervals for a combined total of 10 discs. after all players have thrown all 10 discs and no ace's have been made then a single shot CTP will take place.
Prizes for players 11 and younger: 1st place wins a Mongoose "black magic" BMX free style frame and forks. 2nd place wins candy.
Prizes for players 12 and older: 1st place wins all the money bought into the ace race Tournament, a hat and shirt made by crazy mike also a trophy disc for the year to be returned for claims next year. 2nd place wins a Fade Lite Disc Bag http://fadegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=13 (sorry steele blue is not avail... it is dark green)
People are encouraged to show up around 12:00 noon to practice and sign up... the ace race will start at 1:00 pm. we will then move to a different course and play afterward.
