C-tier · PDGA sanctioned singles tournament
About this tournament
This event is a PDGA sanctioned C-tier singles tournament. There will be a player's pack for all AMs that includes (1) tournament stamped disc of your choice and (1) full color Discraft mini. Stamp will be identical to the picture above. Payouts will be determined based on pdga guidelines.
First round will tee off at 10am. Second round will follow 1 hour after the last card is turned in from the first round. There will be some snacks/drinks available for purchase during lunch. There will be several CTP and Long Putt holes. Jumbo toss will be held after the final round.
There will also be one final run of Rise of the Phoenix Firebirds available at the tournament! They are being run on different colors of champion plastic. For those of you that don't know about these, they have the old dx stamp with the big Firebird, but ours are on champion plastic! Limited number will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
***First 25 to pay here on the scene will have the option to reserve a Firebird to be picked up at the tourney. First 25 to register will also be put into a drawing to win a free Firebird!!***
To help address the sandbagging issues at the Michigan State Championships;
a. For the Am2/Am3 (including the women) divisions in Featured Events, if there is a player that takes 1st or 2nd place and that player has never had a PDGA membership the Featured Event will deduct from that player’s payouts $35 to cover the cost of buying them a PDGA membership.
b. The remaining $10 was initially paid by the player at entry.
c. The last missing $5 is because the MDGO is an Affiliate Club.
d. Non-current PDGA members do not apply.
This was passed to address the issue of players not having player ratings. Even if they are not current, the TD does get a file from the PDGA that includes the player's rating. less

Thanks for hosting a fun tournament. Absolutely loved the park. The tournament itself gave me a reason to play AM2 from now on as well, so I don't have to deal with people that only care about winning, and actually care about the sport and the atmosphere. Thanks again Jason, it was a lot of fun, other than the obvious bull****. But I'll be back next year with a vengeance, and I'll be taking the AM2 trophy, if not AM1 :) I've still got tons of time to improve. See ya next year!

How is the course looking? I read on dgcoursereview that there was some damage from a storm last month and a missing basket. Is that all cleared up?

I just registered. If I could reserve a blue firebird that would be awesome. Thanks so much.
