I will be in town Wednesday and Thursday for business. Is it possible to join for one league night?

FYI- Played Moser and Shoaff today. Moser faired better than expected. (Tornado rolled through that area, pretty close)However dwe lost another tree at Shoaff. It landed on Hole # 4 basket. Tree will need to be diced up before Hoser. Also the basket might nee to be bent back into correct shape. (Unless) prodigy baskets go in before tourney.

Shoaff A Hole punished me twice today. First time threw a ole Force, disc hit a tree halfway down the fairway, only to hit right, and bury under the leaves. Looked an hour, no LUCK! Would love to have back! Second time around threw a XXX from the Devan Owens collection, disc split the basket in two, smashed chains and splashed right out the back. Still great weather and lots of fun!

Update: Force was found and turned to FWO! I happened to be in Downtown, when the text came in! Thank You to the person who turned in. And the Lost and Found Box at Shoaff!

Winter is coming! Unfortunately! Moser is flooded! I plan on making 6 new temporary(Natural) teepads in the Shoaff woods, this week. I have bought/cut wood stakes, and purple paint. Why purple you ask? Combine red to blue make purple. Stakes will be placed/hammered down between red pads and blue pads. This will allow for an optional 18 hole course in the Shoaff woods for Fall and Winter. Natural pads will remind me of old school Moser, before we poured pads. If we can get 6 carpet remnants, it ... more

PSA: I spent time with Fort Wayne Parks Department cleaning up trash in the woods yesterday. It took 45 minutes, some holes look like a dump site. If you pack it in, pack it out! I know it wasn't all disc golfer trash. If you see trash, even if it isn't yours, please take time to pick it up. Thanks in advance!

I believe so! And Spiderwebs from Allen Pier! I believe they are some of the best baskets in the business. My favorite baskets all time are Vortexes!

I was honored to locate the Doug "Robo" Current memorial disc today at shoaff. This is a great tribute to him! I threw the disc left handed as instructed and putted out to finish the hole(Got a 3). I smiled/chuckled as I watch the guy behind me throw it left handed(20 feet tops/wind aided), on the next hole. Dougie was one of a kind!! He is truly missed!!

I'm so glad ROBO was left handed, I would have been screwed throwing right handed. My right hand is a birth defect! :)

I brushed/cleared the pads in the woods today at Shoaff. They are ready to rock this afternoon. Go get you some!

Can someone xplain the points and ratings scale ? Is the higher rating better or worse ? Is there a difference between PLAYERS RATING VS. Players points? How are these points an ratings calculated. I’ve looked on PDGA RULES but canst makeheads or tales out of it.

Points are rarely tracked but ratings are. Points in a year can get you invites to certain larger events. Ratings track your progress in tournaments. Higher ratings are better.

Brian Spaulding   September 2, 2019 at 9:55pm

Rating over 1000 is pro level. 1040+ for elite players. In looking at ratings in a particular tournament, 1 stroke in your score is roughly rated 10 points in your rating at the end of the round.
