This is definitely a sad day for all of us lucky enough to have experienced this wonderful course. I played it solo 3 years ago on my only trip up to TC because all my friends wanted to play HH instead. I ended up playing both and preferred Carly's Playground, both for what it stood for and the variety it offered. Both had terrific scenery, but Carly's stood out to me the most. I would like to thank everyone who had a part in making this happenand I hope the family was able to take solace in all the enjoyment their labor of love gave to so many.

1/3rd of the course compromised during the zipline installation. Mt Holiday board voting on wether or not to keep Disc Golf as a recreation there.

This sucks. The guy in charge says safety is their # priority. Yeah, right. Safety and ziplines go hand in hand. Sorry about this, Todd. I'm sure there is another park in the area where chasing the big $ takes a back seat to quality, healthy outdoor activities like disc golf.

was an honor to be able to come up and play the course this past tuesday morning. i hope ill be able to make it back one day. such a beautiful city and area. that young lady is lucky to have a community like yours to remember her w. one of the best in our great stater for sure!

i had my gf w me(first year player) so we played pink to pink on most holes. blue to pink on a few, however.

Lost an orange F2 Mamba on hole 17 the bomber on the right side. It flipped all the way over and I never saw it come back. If found there's a reward but you'll probably have to mail it to me cause I don't live up here.

Hole 14 is out of the ground as of 10/20 due to some sort of construction project at the ski hill. Just a heads up. Fall colors not quite started here yet. The surrounding area is gorgeous, but the best is to come for this course.

Good site Nick. I got up to play Udell, Hickory, Myles Kimmerly and Carly's. The colors were fantastic and the weather cooperated by clearing up for the afternoons. The colors right around Carly's just had not started yet, kind of weird. Just that immediate area was still green. Fickle mother nature.

Thanks for the heads up Steve. They are moving alot of dirt to improve the skiing and address the errosion issues. Course is coming out sunday, last chance to play. Doubles at 9:00 am

Looks like the baskets were out, cement and all Todd. Other than that the place looked great and we had a riot. This is a real gem and makes the trip up from Detroit well worth the time.

Thanks, heading up with the wife to stay at Crystal Mountain for a quick see the colors weekend. Love the course and happy we get to play it. Good luck at the ace race. The disc is a pretty overstable fairway mid, if you have not thrown it. Run it right at the chains.
