I haven't been here in a few years and every time I couldn't find a couple of holes and or where to tee off from. Can anyone tell me if there is improved signage and teeposts etc. now so that I don't get lost. Likely playing here on the way back from Sleepy Hollow on Wed. Any info would be much appreciated.

Attn disc golfers. After months of hard work Taymouth Twp. Park in Burt, right off M13, has got a huge makeover and is now ready to play. This course now boasts 18 holes with longs and shorts. Teepads are spiked down, extra large, 4 X 10 wall carpet. (This stuff is awesome! ) Freshly painted chainstar baskets. A great mix of holes with 6 out in the park and 12 in the woods. This course now has a landscaped and elevated basket with death putt. 4 single mando's for safety and fun. Several wat ... more

Played this park for the first time with the "Course Pro". He showed me around a little bit and explained everything I was doing wrong with my form. He was so helpful. Also saw him throw a putter from the top of the sled hill clear into the horizon. Talk about mashed!!

How do you get to hole 1?

Mike Sizzo   October 1, 2017 at 2:25pm

Its by the river by the big pole barn building next to the baseball diamond on the main park side. You will see a hand painted coarse map there as well

Joel Ferrier   October 1, 2017 at 2:31pm

On the south side of the river between the big metal pole barn and the old bathrooms and a concrete parking lot.

What's going on with the front nine right now? Hole 4 is in a barrel visible from hole 6's tee. There is a random basket on a hill near the train car. Looks cool, anyone have updates?

Charles Williams   July 8, 2017 at 5:57pm

They had to relocate hole 4 and 5's baskets. Now hole 4 is old 6, then hole 5 is the barrel, hole 6 is old 7, hole 7 is old 8, and hole 8 is the basket on the hill near the train car.

Dakota Nolph   July 8, 2017 at 9:35pm

The new tee's are marked temporarily by flags. There is a notice on the board at hole 1's tee explaining.

Joel Ferrier   July 9, 2017 at 8:06am

Thank you guys

Lost an MVP Volt somewhere near the tee of hole 18. I threw from 11 and the wind took it really high and it vanished. It's copper in color and has my name and number on it. Reward if returned.

Hey Mike, let me know more information when you have it!

Mike Siuda   October 7, 2015 at 7:26am

Pine Hills was looking to start singles play on Tuesdays and doubles on Fridays. I'm not sure if they moved forward with this as the initial response was very weak. The course is awesome though. $5 for a round walking, and $10 if you want to use a golf cart. This course is on the back nine holes of Pine Hills Golf Course in Laingsburg.

Anthony Stanley    August 23, 2015 at 6:09am

Lost a blue glitter MVP Inertia on hole 4 somewhere either just inside the fence or over the fence to the left today. Also lost a pink Champion Sidewinder somewhere past the pin to the left of hole 15. Name and number are on them if anyone is gracious enough to return them. I'll give you a few bucks for your trouble.

Anthony Stanley   August 22, 2015 at 10:09pm

The Sidewinder has the Coheed and Cambria Keywork symbol on it, but I'm pretty sure the forest has swallowed it for good.

I recommend using the UDisc app when at this course...gives u a hole by hole "Google maps" style view of the course. Def saved me from wandering around aimlessly.

If anyone happens to stumble upon a brand new bright yellow/green Champion Monarch somewhere around the 5th hole, my friend lost one in the snow today. No markings on the disc, reward if found =]

Can anyone tell me if the park is still flooded?

Eric Sanderson    March 30, 2012 at 7:03am

This course is coming together. This is the 2nd straight week of full-time volunteer work coming together. The back 8 holes have been addressed. MAJOR improvements are evident. Enjoy the blood, sweat and tears of a select few locals.
