"Ummmmmmmmmm..what were we talking about?" Oh yah..DISC GOLF PEOPLE!!!!!" This is really starting to sound so 3rd grade its making me constipated. This 100 year old colon can't take much more.I know just what to do to solve the Disc Golf Dilema.... Can we get volunteers to be Course Monitors? We'll give you a sweet lil sash,a walkie Talkie and a BIG F*CKIN' GUN to shoot the unruly and dis-courteous peeps that are causing such a ruckus.Yah ...thats the ticket! Come ... more

heres what i think about this if u go out to lev on a nice day and its packed do what i do throw one disc NO DOOUBLE DISCING
if u come up on newbys just cut in front and keep on playing do not play safaris only on league days cuz if you do that all the newbys and ppl that never been there before will say thats cool lets go throw it no lev is already in bad shape and they might close the park so frankly i dont care lol

leverich is the only course for miles around and it is always packed now that the weather is nice, i suggest stay to the designated pads unless its early enough or its raining when ther isnt hoards of people!

if i may say something... i cant leave the state of oregon.. so havent been to leverich in a bout a year and a 1/2... but it kinda sounds like the manor at the park is going to shit?!?! 1st off tee's and basket locations are made to be just that... from point "A" to point "B" a course is designed a certain way for many reasons... mostly because of flow and land usage/area avail for the course... when people start playing from an un-designated tee off point that goes to a ... more

Wow!people gettin all worked up!i think the main point trying to be made is that if someone is in the middle of playing a hole, may it be regulation, safari, league, civilian or otherwise please have the respect and courtesy to wait for the person or people to finish.not that people playing regulation format have the right of way over safari formats, just don't go hukin on people when they're on a hole first!besides that the real problem is the fair weather players that come in groups of te ... more

We always wait. wait. and wait. I've never thrown in on another group! I'm going downtown right now, breaking Jaycen Ness out of the Clark County jail and playing a "mean nothing" round of disc golf, all "gorilla" hole, playing the course backwards. If we hit people, it's their fault. I hit a guy in the face once with a driver. IT WASN'T THAT BAD, he just tried to beat me up with his fishing pole, then we settled on me giving him $3.50 for a beer as staggered off to the store all concussed-like.

And to clarify the meaningless round statement.. for example.. if i went to a park where there was a tournament or a league there is no way that i would stay there and play and just get in the way of everything, standing around waiting, playing a meaningless round while there is an event going on.. not trying to say your game means nothing.. just how i look at it

lol.. So who are you?

Travis Head    May 24, 2011 at 12:52am

Your missing the point... The problem had was with your ignorant comments reguarding league disc golfers and how they are ruining the park and the sport. Thats the issue I have.. Why dont you put a face pic on your profile so everyone can see who you are and who is making these allogations?

I dont care what any of you say. If your playing in a league or a tournament the round is more important than if your playing a casual round.. How can that possibly be argued? To me it is anyways.. And if its not important to you personally you probably do not have the same competitive drive and we will not see eye to eye on this issue. I have fun playing for the competition, not to get loaded and hang out at the park!

People,people,people..Can't we all just get along? Exchanging banter doesn't help the problem. We are just throwing pieces of plastic and for every player, there will be a point of view. It's a friendly game and should be kept that way. We can only be responsible for ourselves and lead by example. But I must say, that going to pick up a disc that has landed in a huge nasty pile of doggy doo really twists my shorts in a knot. Doggy doo...did I really just write that? What a hoot. Pla ... more

O and in the official rules say you can throw in if you completely believe you can not reach the player in the field

So guys it sounds like it always dose in summer. Weather gets nice the park gets crowded. what sounds like really needs to happen is we need to go out find an unused park and start asking the city/county what needs to happen to open it up to disc golf. Remember the city works for us not the outer way around if we stand with one voice we can not be denied. And to those who know nothing of courtesy It's a game for all not just YOU. if you want to play where no one around go to a different cou ... more

THROW ON ME AGAIN MOTHER****ERS AND YOU WILL BLEED it should be on a shirt

Dan, I laughed...not at the situation, but the comment was definitely funny. I've seen more people getting aggro on the course lately. I, myself, went ballistic about a month ago. We all just need to remember that we are all out here to have fun, if you're not, then you should find another way to spend your time. Competition doesn't mean you're round is more important, neither does league. If you're having trouble with the "fun" part, come play a round with me, guaranteed you'll be laughin'..!

Happy discin'

OK OK guys let's cool it off a bit we are really no going to help the sport if we are fighting on a public forum. Why don't we just get together and play a round, league or not it doesn't really matter and see how we can resolve eachothers problems. Being as disc golf is growing so fast especially at leverich we need to be able to work together so the sport will grow as smooth as possible. League is fun as is casual golf with friends but we need to be able to work together as we w ... more

I treat everyone with respect, unless something is done to lose it. you try to blame all the parks problems on the leaguers. That could not be farther from the truth.. so when are we not showing respect? By playing "gorilla golf"? Whatever that means.. Maybe YOU should show respect to the good people in the leagues that do good things for the park and not come on here and blame everything on us. just realize the leagues are going nowhere so your fighting a losing battle.. and what is t ... more
