I found this course in 2017 and was impressed. After moving to the Dayton area in 2019, I have played more than 20 local courses. In my opinion, this is the best of them all. Yes, there are plenty of challenging areas and you may lose a disc (esp. on hole 8 if you throw across the river). However, the folks who maintain it have done an admirable job keeping it clean and removing dead branches, etc. Those who have said you'll "use every throw you have" aren't kidding. This course will make you a better player!

I played yesterday. There is a lot of debris scattered along the course, grass is not mowed in wooded sections and there are A LOT of dead trees. Several dead falls are blocking the trails and there is a new tree down at home 18 that fell a couple days ago. Watch your footing when throwing and walking. At the current course condition I would have to down grade it from its current rating significantly. Other local courses are better maintained in comparison.

Has it been cleaned up since you posted this? I'll be there in a week and was hoping to play here.

Coming down from Michigan on Sunday 4/23 and hoping to get insight on current condition. Can anyone help?

I'm going to be in the area on the 4th and early on the 5th. I hope I'll get the chance to play this course again!

so I played here a few weeks ago. Brilliant. This course rivals the best. While I appreciate the photos with the red circles, they do not do the course justice. It's much more beautiful than the photos led me to believe, and much more difficult, too. The photos would be better if the tees were in view and also if they were captioned with distances and course pars. I think of this course nearly everyday now and wish i lived closer. (not that my local courses aren't damn fine, lol (Northend Riverside, Big Bend, Deerfield))

Sorry, I just read again what you wrote. Sorry.

As I said, you won't know the traffic until you get there. It is steady. That is about the best I can say.

There isn't a course in yellow springs anymore.

Fairborn is right down the street. Groups are moderate. There is not a REGULAR busy time so I guess you will only know when you get there.

I'm planning to be in Yellow Springs in about 2 weeks, and this seems to be the closest course. Can anyone tell me what the traffic is like? Should I expect big waits behind many groups?

i am glad to have played the course...most bad azz. Once this wears in, ya'll will have an awesome course. I flew in for the week to attend a conference at WPAFB, so I found this before I came here. Glad I did and glad i brought a travel bag. this would be a most worthy on the East Coast where we play a ton of wooded holes.

What's pro par? i really liked this course. Thank you for your efforts.

I am part of the design team for HAHFairborn. I am glad to see this course has made it onto DiscGolfScene.com
