Attn disc golfers. After months of hard work, Taymouth Twp. Park in Burt (west birch run) has got a huge makeover and is now ready for play. This course now boasts 18 holes with longs and shorts. Teepads are spiked down, extra large, 4 X 10 wall carpet. This stuff is awesome! Freshly painted chainstar baskets. A great mix of holes with 6 in the park and 12 in the woods. This course now has a landscaped elevated basket with death putt. 4 single mando's for safety and fun. Several water hazards. 2 exciting risk vs reward double mando's. An ace run hole. A pole hole. A triple mando. And a superd island hole surrounded along in front and both sides by creeks.. Course info has been updated on disc golf scene and the process has begun on udisc and should be complete in a week or so. But you won't get lost. There is excellent signage and also the bottom rung of the baskets is painted pointing the way to go. This is no longer the crap course it used to be! Course amenities and odds and ends work are ongoing.

My buddy lost a orange gstar eagle with a custom texas longhorns logo that i made for him. He seems to think that a group that was causing him grief the whole time may have picked it up... Please if you happen to see this disc let me know. That disc meant a lot to him when i dyed it and he is just getting started with the sport. I will give you discs as a reward, just really want him to get his disc back. Thanks guys!

My family is having a reunion in Midland over the wknd. I have not been up here yet to play any of the local courses. I will be introducing disc golf to my family. Im looking for a course that is beginner friendly. Something that has a decent amount of open holes; something like The Ponds of Lakeshore(the throw shop-ypsi). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Lost my orange Project Johnson disc on hole 10 last Friday. I believe it was a Heat, but honestly can't remember what it actually was. It says project Johnson on the face though, so let me know if you've come across it. I'm pretty sure it went out on the left side, but can't be sure because I didn't have a spotter.

Friday July 8th Sanford lake leagues will be here for the weekly league which will also double up as a warm up doubles round for the midland open. It is a $5 buy in with $1 ace and $1 ctp. If no one gets an ace we will throw off for the money. There will also be extra CTP's available. If your looking to get a practice round in along with some fun come on out. Tee off is 6pm and it is a random draw doubles.

Lost a yellow Nuke OS with faded red under dye a couple weeks ago and forgot to post. Somewhere on the left side of 17 down by the hole. Reward if you find it. I've had it for 7 years so I don't want to let it go!
