Every Saturday in May, there will be a Limb-it-less Disc Golf Scramble at the new Aurora course. $5 to play. There will be an A and B pool playing the Blue course. Players will have to remove one limb from the fairway for every throw they take. If there are 20 players taking 4 throws per hole for 18 holes, we would clear 1,440 limbs from the course each week. The club will add $1 for every player that participates.

This could be the last winter before disc golf takes its first step into the mainstream. There's been a couple of ESPN ace highlights in the past year. The sports network sees it as a novel, quirky highlight opportunity to keep viewers' attention, and the interest of the broader publicly may have been collectively piqued? In 2016 the mainstream sports fans will be able to take a closer look. There will be 3 new pro-tours debuting next year with strong financial backing, including a wor ... more

I got a call from a disc golfer who found my green translucent Halo and put it in the disc drop last Saturday. How do I go about getting it back?

Jon DeCapua   August 10, 2015 at 9:30am

Pat, come to scrambles on Tuesday 6PM at the course. The guys who have the keys will be there. The casuals have been stealing discs out of the disc return slot so i doubt it will still be there :(

Patrick Fortunato   August 10, 2015 at 9:51am

Wow! Thanks John! Crazy because the guy called me when I was out of town, we spoke, then when I called him to set up a time to get it from him he said he didn't have it because he saw the disc drop and had put it in there!!
