There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering for Jerry Bland this Saturday, April 26, 2 p.m. at Wingfoot State Park, Dogwood Shelter. If you knew Jerry and have a fond memory, please feel free to share it when we gather. Also, come dressed in Disc Golf attire and maybe play a round after in Jerry's honor.

After an awesome discussion with PK Deaner about a NEO Points Series, SPring Meltdown will be Event #1, Beauty and the Beast will be Event #2 and Flight of the Zeppelins will be Event #3. It would be awesome to be able to run this series through the NEO Open and have as many NEO stops as we can fit into it between #3 and then.

The shirts are not a problem, I have a huge stock of blank shirts and a tee shirt press in my basement, I will front the shirts and give 100% of the profits to NEO Alliance Fund for future DG endeavors.

PK came up with the idea to have a design contest for the Shirts and Tags. The same art work will be used for both pieces (assuming everyone is on board with both pieces for the series). We are still working on the details for the contest and the prize for the winner, but it will be sweet and we do want to get a design as soon as possible so I can have shirts ready by Meltdown on 4/19.

The tiger town open generated $183 to finish the signs at massillon oak ledges disc golf course. I'd like to thank the true sponsors of the the game the people that showed support for a course they love at a trophy only tournament. So thanks to the few but plenty members of various clubs medina, scdga, dover disc golf, summit disc golf, portage disc golf, team jdg, punderson disc golf and any others that played. I'm glad I had am opportunity to benefit a place that has given me great joy and some of the best rounds of disc golf. Thanks

Thank you all for the support. I made a huge charge on the last round but could not hold things together taking a 5 and then a 6 on the final 2 holes to pit myself 5 strokes off a great round and 4 strokes out of semis. Dammit next
Year I will make it to semis! Sported my JDG shirt most of the time. Photos coming soon. Again thank for the support. And FYI the waters around genesee has a few of my discs. Looking to replace. Cfr whippet. Lat bolt and star valk
