Is there more information concerning the do or die doubles? I don't see it on the NUDGA website.

Attention all NUDGA's, Josh Morgan has given us the go ahead to have a NUDGA gathering at his place of business (Borrowed Earth Emporium, 2242 Washington Blvd) Feb. 5th @ 7:00 after the do or die doubles tournament. We'd like to discuss 2011 tournaments and events and let people get to know each other better. I will bring some munchies, but if you have something you would like to contribute you can bring it. (BYOB but please keep it mellow.) Josh is going to try to round up a ping pong table.

Man do I miss you guys! Every course in the area has 2-3 inches of ice on EVERY tee! It sucks! The good thing is that in the warmer months the park districts take care of everything. They don't in the winter though, and though clubs don't do shit. Oh well. I just gotta try my damndest not to pull a Steve! haha. To the greatest disc golf club in the world - NUDGA! Take care guys!

If the disc wedges from the inside, and you see it happen, it counts. If no one sees it wedge, then you assume that it did wedge from the inside and it counts. If you see it wedge from the outside it does not count. If you get an ace by wedging it through from the outside, the PDGA is going to say that you did not hit the target area, it only counts if no one can say that it went through from outside. The thing that gets me is, disc golf started out as object golf. It used to be good if you hit the pole!

Also, a disc wedged in the basket does NOT count anymore. The only time a wedged disc will count is if no one witnessed the disc wedge because it could have possibly wedged itself from the inside of the basket.

The rumors of a disc counting on top of the basket are false. See the new official rules for holing out below.

Doubles, alternate shot, Best score. Worst disc. Stableford. Match play. Wolf. North vs South. I like it just the way it is but I'm always up for something different.
