matt stevens is the TD for the event. It's unsanctioned and there's no way to register online as far as I know. I believe it's still happening. His number is 500-5808 if you wanna get in contact with him

Got a pink disc stick in that tree on 12 at Kinkaid about halfway up. Number is on the inside if anyone gets it down or finds it on the ground!
Hopefully before June as I'm leaving state then but my parents can also receive the disc if found...
I never found itm it was not there when I checked yesterday. Had my name and number so I guess it probably got taken by someone...
that sucks, I hate it when people find your disc and not have the decency to give you a call.

if you do find my lost disc, my number is (907) 350-7908. thanks

I'm curious about the ADGA, is it new player friendly and what does it do for its members? Also are people actively playing right now? I really want to get more into disc golf but have no one to play with!
Hello Anne, thanks for expressing interest in the ADGA. Given the current circumstances, people are playing casual rounds (while hopefully practicing social distancing) but we can't begin any organized play until the limit on gatherings is lifted or at least amended. We typically start our su ... more
And yes, the ADGA is new player friendly. We welcome players of all skill levels to join us. As far as benefits to joining our organization, you receive a club stamped disc when you join for the first time ($40, it's $30 to renew each year after that), and you also receive the discounted rate ... more
what is the easiest way to join the ADGA and where can we get more information about joining this organization?

Left a blue firm warlock with gold stamp in the basket on 9 lil over a week ago. Anyone pick it up by chance?
Brock Antijunti April 9, 2020 at 6:01pm
Anyone played Davis Park or Russian Jack...just curious of the course conditions. Kincaid still icy and tons of snow.
Davis is playing fine, the course at Russian Jack was pulled several years ago.

How do I join the ADGA and what are the benefits?
Memberships are typically paid for or renewed at leagues. Given that we aren't conducting those at the moment, you could PayPal the ADGA at [email redacted] if you'd like to join. $40 for first time members

Have they pulled the basket at Westchester lagoon or are they still in place. If they are still in, how is the condition of play.

Do we have a tentative tournament schedule for this year yet? I'm planning some travel but I'd like to be up here for the Kincaid Kickoff.

Have we ever rented out The Dome or anything for putting/field work? I don't know what kind of facilities they have - I'd imagine you'd want to reserve a field so as to not risk hitting someone. Don't know what the prices are either but I can imagine 10 people or so would defray the costs.
I think it cost the club considerably more than a couple hundred when this event happened...I believe some club members sponsored this event themselves if I recall correctly.
I would be interested if the club did get field access to throw.

Who would be interested in a ice bowl!?
Toni O has expressed a desire to run Jailhouse this season, but has requested that it fall on a different weekend than the first one in August. We'll work that out and let you know.
As far as an Ice Bowl, if someone would like to run it just let me know and I'll facilitate.

Winter leagues start 11am January 18 at Davis Park! No plans to change much from last winter leagues; will update as I lock down the details. Plan is to alternate Davis Park/Westchester Lagoon, also updated when I figure out how to do that.

Go to the schedule tab on the league, from there you can edit the location for every date.
Also thank you Joe for doing it on my birthday and giving me a great way to start the day!

Are we going to do any sanctioned singles this winter? I'd be happy to help run it if that's needed.
I don't know how long it takes to get stuff approved, but I'll try and submit what I can tomorrow. I'm thinking if we get it up and running soon, we can do the same 10-week thing from last winter? Might be fun to have a final 16 at PC or something if it thaws by April.
Great - I'll submit the form and I'm thinking we might as well start January 18, but I'm also seeing something about needing 30 days? If so, first day of leagues will be either Feb 8 or Feb 15.
Just to clarify- " the winning pair on that card split the prize money paid by the group of four!" - the most amount of money you could win is 10 dollars? We're not competing against the field just our card?
Correct. You’re essentially playing for a free round on the new pay to play course. Trying something new to keep people from having to gather at the end due to the virus. It also helps us run the FLEX start easier, allowing groups to start when ready and letting people trickle in after work as ready.
This payout format is a little odd, but for the reasons above we figured we’d try it, I’m sure it won’t be a regular thing.
