I just heard that the DiscCatcher for hole number 3 at the Cadyville Course in Plattsburgh, NYwas stolen last week. Thieves dug up and removed the hole from its base on Wednesday night March 30th 2011. They also tried to steal the practice basket but the ground was still too frozen for them get the basket loose.
I’ve heard that Center Chains disc golf course in Waterbury, VT had 3 baskets stolen last year.

Wow!!! Another eastern NY disc golf club!! Nice to see the sport has grown to the north. I hope to take a trip up your way in 2011 with some DisCap club members.

its a year late, but we have something different but similar in the works, Chains for Charity IV: backpack safari. its a safari course but put on in downtown plattsburgh as opposed to ausable chasm. i believe registration is already up
