I like this one. Spider?

Yep, the guy I got it from called it an "old pearly spider".

Sweet. Would you say the stamp significantly increases the value of this disc? If so, what would this be worth? 90.00?

Good question Travis. I'm somewhat new to collecting, but here's my thought. Just the disc being desireable or just the stamp being desireable are good, both together are better. This identical stamp on the most generic DX disc (but new/unthrown) would be worth in the $20 - $25 range. Because this is an old pearly spider, the value is around $50 (at least that is what I paid at open auction on eBay). So nearly double, that's significant yep.

Now what I don't know, is what the value would be of an "old pearly spider" with a stock stamp. Would it still be worth $50, or is this one more valuable because of the "Little Wing" stamp?

Thanks Nik. So it looks like the disc itself, in this case, is the real driver of the value... but the stamp does increase the value somewhat. It's probably going to be a situational thing... I've seen $10 discs go for $100 due to a rare stamp.... but a disc already valued at $100 probably isn't going to go up by that much due to the stamp (except in rare cases, such as a ZoneDriven stamp on top of a stock CE stamp). In some cases, a bad stamp may even decrease the value?? Personally, I collect the stamps more than the discs themselves (but both do matter).

In my comment tho i think i am wrong in assuming its a pearly proline because i don't believe they ever stamped those with non Stock stamps .. So you are correct in it being a Pearly Stock Champ Spider . The rest of the comment remains valid tho :) ~

Thanks. Good info. I thought it would be worth a little more but didn't think about it only being stock pearly. Still awesome!

You will notice that I have quite a few Flying Eye and Little Wing... having a heck of a time finding Curley and Tourist. Keep checking back though, I'm making progress on those.
