“Stretch of 10 holes where I had 7 birdies. Until the last 2 holes, on pace to be probably my best singles round - EVER - in 20+ years of playing. Missed very makeable putts on 3, 5, 16, and 18 (in fact, all of those putts hit chains). Suddenly remembered the hacker I was on 17. Other than that, pretty much everything I tried worked. Lots of fun. Cold but sunny and pleasant. The group of 8 of us playing was incredible fun to hang out with for the afternoon, and not just because of my game.”
