Great variety, a little nicer on the scores than east for sure. Loved the shot variety, well placed pins, and wind will always keep it interesting. I hope to be back! Worlds was a blast!

Risk/reward at it's finest. I was able to pull together a great round playing safe golf, and that is how the game should be. OB's are mean, but definitely fair. Love this course!

Awesome course. Needs to be permanent and needs some love, and this course will be a great one

One of the most incredible courses I have ever played. Not a single basket is put in the wrong place, the tee pads are great, the course is beautiful. Go play this course. You won't play well but you will love every second of it. Separates the men from the boys that's for sure.

Concrete tees and some good signage and this course is A+ ! This course is so sick and so challenging! It will punish your bad shots and reward good shots. Every shot in your bag is needed, and every single hole can be a birdie. Probably a fantastic tournament course, I can't wait to come back and play again

This course was a disappointment when I played it. It is very technical and very challenging, but there is not much variety. Almost every hole is a putter/midrange shot with only 1 line to choose from.

What an awesome course! Elevation, short holes, long holes, open holes, wooded holes, this course has everything. It will challenge every shot you have in your bag and punish the non-conservative golfer. By far my favorite course at the Hippodrome

How SICK was this world championship course?! I have never had a course beat me up this bad and still be tons of fun. Beautiful, incredibly challenging, and completely awesome. You can't give it a bad rating for being too hard because this course was made to challenge the top professionals. Amateur players such as myself cannot expect this course to be easy. Enjoy the disc golf and walking on the course so many pros walked on in 2012 worlds.

Pretty fun course that will challenge the player to place shots and hit lines. If this were called an intermediate course, it would be much better. As a course to be used in competitions, there are too many short holes. Let the players pull a driver out once in a while. Fun factor is high

The key here is POTENTIAL!!! Lots of fun and still challenging shots, with a bunch of ace runs in there. Very new course and it is slowly getting better while the debris gets cleared and the ground gets trampled. I hear they will be using the mountainside a little more and putting teepads in. This course will be quite the course come a year or 2. It is a nice stop if you are in the area, probably won't need very many drivers but it is still a lot of fun

Bring all your shots for this one, especially if you are lucky enough to get to play the 27 hole tournament layout like i was! A must play course for sure. Being a player from utah, Hole 14 is not as epic as I had hoped, so if you play a lot of mountain golf like me it may disappoint just a bit. This course is so much fun to play, and I can't wait to be back! Try not to lose your discs over the cliff!

Fun course, incredibly challenging. Don't go when it is raining because it was just soggy and miserable, especially when your disc is wet, an accidental slightly early release would go OB every time. Very awesome how similar it is to ball golf, So much risk/reward, and can challenge even the toughest of players of disc golf. It loses a little value because it is almost ridiculously long. I would probably not even recommend intermediate players to play here. I struggled as an advanced player myse ...

Solid course, I really liked how there were random buildings / walls in the way at times. This course provided some interesting shots. I like the terrain, but if you come here probably don't come with with less than 3 people. Losing discs can be a problem. There was 6 of us so we didn't have an issue. It was a great place to stop on our way to Monterey, and a good warmup for our tournament because there were plenty of different shots.

Awesome course. There was not one hole on this course that didn't have a lot of thought put into it. the wind made a good challenge, some really big shots. Hole 3 (Worlds hole 12) is one of my favorite holes in disc golf, especially because I was fortunate enough to ace it! Definitely a course to play if you have the chance. Bring water.

Only got to play 6 holes because of the tournament, but I saw all the holes to see that this one is definitely in the shadow of the oaks course. Wind made it tough, the last hole (not sure what number) we played was shooting from by the road downhill to a basket near 2 big trees, that was a cool hole. If you plan to play this course, play it before you play the Oaks course because if you play it afterwards you'll probably be disappointed

Such a fun course. We had short-medium set up when we played and still had a ton of fun. So many different positions could make this a completely different course every time. I want to play with everything in super long positions it would be a very big challenge. Bring all your shots for this course for sure. Hole 3 is up there with my favorite holes in disc golf

Starting at A+. Just because solitude is around the corner this one is not even close so that bumps it to an A-. The teepads were the worst things I have ever seen and played on in my life and for me that takes it all the way down to B- because it's not fun worrying about falling. Then it's 15 bucks for a pretty good course compared to solitudes 7 bucks for an incredible course so that puts it at C+.Overall a fun course with good elevation and lots of long and short shots. It was a lot of fun just don't expect another solitude

Not an A+ course but there are definitely a lot of A+ holes! Sick shots and OB to keep it interesting. A few long walks but those can't be helped because of the limitations in the canyon. Fun course I will be back. A little difficult to navigate

As a course itself, i give this a B+ to A- but what makes this an A+ course for me is the fun factor. Not sure if it was having the course to ourselves, or how awesome the place is, but it was just a blast!! I just wanted to play 25 more rounds after I was done. Great course!

If this course was free to play, I would definitely give it an A rating. But this is a disappointment for a pay to play course. It was easy to lose your disc right in the fairway because of all the sticks, tall grass, and debris that was near and under the bushes. Half the holes were blind and needed something (like a long PVC pipe with a flag on it perhaps) to indicate where the hole is. The reason I gave it a B- is because if I pay 5 dollars to play this course it shouldn't have problems like ...

Awesome course with some fun pin locations like hanging baskets and baskets on top of hills/tires. They recently re-did the course so that is why some of the pictures are different. I didn't get all the pictures but the ones I uploaded are of the updated course. It got really hot when we were there so bring lots of water. Long pants are recommended, or plan on gettin a couple scratches. The back holes are across the street, I suggest playing those first because those are all the long holes.

Crowded and short. the distances for the holes were definitely wrong. This course is worth it if you are driving through Rawlins. It is also a nice park setting considering Wyoming is absolutely nothing. Behind the back 4 holes there is all this land that could definitely be home to a rocky safari mountain 9 holes to make this an 18 hole course. It plays pretty quick and I'd say its a good time to stop and warm up the arm a little. Looking at all the paths and roads, play islands and this course is hard! I shot like 7 over cuz of all the OB. Watch out for kids

SO MUCH FUN! Have the course to yourselves and Paul is just awesome. Definitely worth the 20 bucks but book your tee time early. Expect Tournament style play and you will be disappointed. This is TECHNICAL!!! Yes you will use your mid ranges and putters a lot but NO do not leave your drivers at home the uphill shots and hard left and right shots need drivers. Better be in shape!

Absolutely Incredible. This course can't even be described how awesome it is!!! I don't think any course I will play will top this one any time soon. It is a tough hike if you just played Phantom Falls but is GREAT and definitely worth it. The walk in kinda sucks they should put like 3 holes in that can be played backwards and forwards then there would be no annoying walk in and it would be 27 holes (after hole 20 there are 2 teepads you can play to the practice basket for a 21st hole). It is a completely different course from all the tee pads! Very challenging and lots of elevation and a few tight shots. There are holes that are just awesome too like 18 and 19. It is really cheap to stay here so I definitely recommend staying here a few nights and playing this, picuris pueblo, and Two Gray Hares you won't be disappointed! Bring Water, Good Shoes, BUG SPRAY and all your shots for this one.

Short and Technical Front 9 and Open Bombs in the back 9. The driving range was awesome!!! 3 dollars is a steal considering you pretty much get it to yourself. Lots of fun, although some of the underbrush needs to be cut down so there is less discs getting lost when they are barely off the fairway (pay to play courses should not have this problem)

Nothing can describe how awesome this course is. But I'll try. Every hole is a different shot. Short long left right up down you name it. If you expect a long round and don't mind waiting it is fine but you will be frustrated if you don't like a crowded course. I can see why it is used so much though because it is awesome! There was a guy selling discs for good prices when I was there. Love Hole 6!

General: expect to lose plastic. Fun tournament, not exactly sure what the course is like without the mowed grass for tourney play and there were temp baskets. Overall a pretty fun course that was very challenging Pros: Challenges you to place your shots accurately; Very fun 'farm' setting; Elevation change; Awesome home made baskets along with some nicer baskets; Had OB and Mandys to make you think about every shot even the open ones Cons: Water that will take your discs and you won't get ...

I don't think there is anywhere else in the world to find a course like this. It is truly one of a kind. I don't even care what my score is because the location is so cool. It is worth the drive hands down. Some of the tee pads were a little sketchy but I wouldn't pay to get concrete out there either, so I won't complain! This is a definite disc golf destination, and Tom has the best hospitality. He tried to let us camp for free because we watched the tortoise for an evening! Of course we still paid him anyways, he deserved it!

Pretty fun course for a quick 9 holes or even 18 (finished 18 holes in like an hour and 15 minutes). Mostly short holes but good variety, fun if you are going for an ace. Small town so not very crowded. I would not call it a "destination course" but if you happen to be driving through lewiston it won't be a waste of time.

They really did a great job on this course. It gets a little repetitive but it is very challenging and does a good job with the space that was given. Watch your discs if you get a bad throw but it's a really good place to practice with different shots and tight fairways
Valley Regional › December 27, 2012

This course does a very good job of variety. Holes range from 192-440 feet. Some are wide open, some have trees. This is a very good place to practice in the wind, because most of the time there is at least a breeze. Occasional mini tournaments like doubles or singles is great. If you say this course is too easy, play islands with the paths and it becomes a technical game. New pin placements and growing trees are making this course better every year. Expect to wait (what feels like) forever for someone walking on the path through the fairway
