West MI Gaming Convention April 6th and 7th 2013 will have Disc Golf introduced as a Premier Game in the convention. Disc Golf Appreciation Event Oct. 20th 2012 has been very difficult work to get this event up and ready. BUT with the help of The Grand River Bandits Semi-Pro Football team members and some scouts the park was cleaned up and we event managed to get some of the holes cleaned up as well. We actually were able to get the fairways on 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17, 18 cleaned up right to the ground. Were not done yet, but we are attempting to get all the broken up wood and sticks organized so we have some unifo ... more

Disc Golf Appreciation Event Oct. 20th 2012 has been very difficult work to get this event up and ready. BUT with the help of The Grand River Bandits Semi-Pro Football team members and some scouts the park was cleaned up and we event managed to get some of the holes cleaned up as well. We actually were able to get the fairways on 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17, 18 cleaned up right to the ground. I am very happy with our volunteers who came out and helped out a Park and event to help us improve the park conditions. Between All the people who cleaned up there was just over $22.00 in bottles recovered, and 10 bags of trash, that is amazing. Today JC Park is clean, and our event will be very soon on the 20th. Come out and hang out with all of us and show your support for a great event.

To all League members and all friends and all Disc Golfers, JC Park Kentwood MI Oct, 20th 2012 we will be having a huge event for a park clean up and event to celebrate Disc Golf in Kentwood MI but more so to show Kentwood we really like JC Park. Alpha Players is donating food and time to run event, Ducks Lawn Care will be donating equipment and time for clean up of park, we have Elite Security assisting with security for overnight prior to event, and the city of Kentwood has donated the park for all of us to have this event. Come show your support for JC Park and its Disc Golf Course. Sign up and get registered on-line or in store or even at the park day of. There will be a raffle for a disc golf target all metal target retailed at $225.00 tickets ar $2.00, for 1 $4.00 for 3, and $10.00 for 15. There will be an Ace pool at $3.00 per entry winner take all, or if there is a tie it gets split. If no winner money goes towards the clean up fund to help off set the costs. There will be Hotdogs served after 1st round, there will be water and pop for sale at $1.00 per. There will be CTP for all golfers no purchase necessary this is included in your entry fee, There will be a drawing for a door prize at end of event. As this event grows so will prizes and sponsors, This event is to raise awareness of how JC Park can and was almost lost to the public opinion of the park, It is to showcase the park as a nice park to Disc Golf in so please everyone lets get there on Oct. 20th 2012 9:30am registration soon after that players meeting, soon after that tee off.
