Did not play Nockamixon on this trip. That course is definitely built on an Indian burial ground -- super cursed and haunted. Buddy of mine hurt his ankle there one time. Couple years ago, I fell there and needed stitches. Never going back there ever again. I was all drunk and I was trying to get down a big ledge to get my disc. There was a log hanging out over the ledge like a cantilever. I was straddling it and slowly inching out toward the edge -- not a wise move to begin with. Rotten ... more

Rotten log broke under my weight and sent me straight to the ground. Outstretched hand came in contact with sharp rock, cutting wrist. Super lucky that cut was in between two veins. Not a good course to get your drink on.

sure, because I am a hacker and cheap, I try to do specials or twilight when possible. The Metro Parks have reasonable rates. I haven't played Kensington or the Willow since the 80s, I like the Willow the best of the Metro Park courses. Reddeman Farms has a great weekend twilight rate also. pierce lake has a $22/ride after 3 pm weekends, it's a very nice course.
