If you are heading up to Marquette, I lived there for 5 years. I have several very good friends that live right down town. I can link you to my buddy Waz. right next to the Ramada. All suggestions below are great but the dg course on the mnt is non-existent. Pulled it couple of summer ago and it got replanted in Harvey. I don't think it would be worth visiting. Hike out to little presque fo sho!~ I'm jealous!

Camp on Dead river, Visit pictured rocks, hidden beach (right next to little presque) walk the break wall at presque isle and cliff jump the black rocks, spend some time on the beach by the lighthouse in marquette, always a fun crowd. The upfront has live music every night. Canyon Falls 100 ft cliff jump if your gutsy (pretty f'en intense) Play the dgolf course at marquette mt. great mt biking if your into that. Your best bet to find parties in town would be to troll at the Doghouse or the Upfront. The bluebarry beer at the Vierling is a must... Im sure ill think of some more stuff to do.. but if you have any questions about any of these places hit me up. Oh yeah, great rope swings on the carp river and on teal lake, all of these places you should be able to find by googleing.
