I was amazed that my local library had a copyof that Jim phillips artwork book...brings back fond memories of my days skating in the mid-late eighties, still have my santa cruz slasher (jim phillips art) model rolling. Gonna try to introduce my five-year old to skateboarding this summer. hope ya get a chance to check that book out.

yep.....his artwork is super cool! My local library has the new large Jim Phillips artbook with all his work....that guy and his studio are genius!!!!
peter kunoff wrote February 25 at 12:30pm
that avatar is just a little Microsoft paint image I created by taking some skateboard art.....the image is taken from someone's interpretation of the art of Jim Phillips. He is an artist from California famous for concert posters, surf and skateboard art. I was familiar with his work from my former life in the eighties, skating Santa Cruz skateboards.

It's a quality-control safeguard. Someone has to 'vote up' one of your pictures before it is eligible to be displayed in the course list. You can vote pictures up or down using the green and red circles to the bottom right of most pictures.
