You would definately belong and compete pretty well in Intermediate at PDGA sanctioned tournaments. This is my personal opinion, but I think players can move up one division when they are playing at small non-sanctioned tournaments. It makes it more fair for the more "recreational" disc golfers (which we have a lot of in north Iowa) that have to compete in Intermediate because that is the lowest division we are offering. So I definately think a player like you can move up to advanced and be competetive at these tournaments and give more of a chance to those rec golfers that have to play intermediate so they don't get blown out of the water and get frustrated. You would have placed 2nd in Advanced at Thornton. Would have gotten more prize money actually (but not a trophy). But it is definately you choice as it is with everyone. I think there are some others that could play advanced and compete on these small courses, to loosen up the Intermediate division a little bit.
