Foz Miller  › Cooperative Ace Race at Rolling Hills 2012   November 27, 2012 at 3:33am

77 Players Generated an Ace pool of $1080 and 93 DOT Disc awards,
Several pots of chilli, Stew, pies and other goodies. We could deffinately use more food - seems everyone was hingry and the food went quickly. This is an area for improvement next year. Thanks to all who helped with the food.

I'd also like to say thanks to 24 Chains, A3, the Farm House, Local 101, Night Moose, Washtenaw Glow & Ypsi Dubs for supporting this Cooperative Ace Race. Steve Waite, Crista and Rolling Hills park - The use of the Lodge was huge - THANKS

Matt Schooley made all the signs. Ron Howard besides starting this whole idea worked with Matt to put out the extra baskets, place the signs and alternate tee pads before everyone arrived. Kyle and Matt picked them up. Jake Schooley and Foz took care of registration and messing up the Ace payout ;-) Jay Adamski help with food (Great Chili) and general cordination. Everyone help with the Dot Disc kaos. Luna Disc with some great donations to the Dot awards. TAGDA as well. OG with a Growler and gift card. The ThrowShop as always helping to add to the fun. All in all a great cooperative effort for a great day of Ace runs with Friends and Family - THANKS!!

If you have suggestions please let us know so we can improve on it and grow this event next year - Black Friday 2013 - Mark your calendars, save a few discs and learn to cook something edible ;-)

I had a few players mention the holes were to long. Now the weather added to the experience being a true transition event from Fall to Winter with 20+ mile an hour winds all day, colder temps and some snow flurries during the afternoon round. But if I look at the stats we had 8 Aces, all were on different holes, with at least 37 almost aces (Dots). This made the Ace Payout (once caculated correctly) $135 per Ace. They some how got an extra $5 during the payout correction (missing Score cards) but we felt they deserved it - Nice Shots guys:

Ben Calhoun Hole 5
Chilly Chillson Hole 3
Doakata ROCkafellow Hole 8
Jeremy "Perm" Kemp Hole 15
Kirk "Luna" Haggadone Hole 11
Mike Raley Hole 7
Sam Smith Hole 2
Scott Ransley Hole ?

There were 93 Dot discs collected and 37 dots hit. Nice Shooting - better luck next time for some cash but a DOT got you 2 discs and a Double DOT got you 5. Hope you like the new plastic or items - there was something interesting for everyone on the table - Enjoy
