If you're participating in the Ace Race on Saturday, here are a few things you should know:
1) I know the weather is supposed to remain ghetto throughout the weekend... year. However, I'm asking those of you that happen to have a digital recorder or camcorder to please take it with you. If you don't want to risk it getting wet, I completely understand. Last year I took my camera and was able to come up with a 5 1/2 minute video (which included Mindy's ace!) It would be great to have a collection of vids to put together. A highlight reel if you will. And possible lowlight reel too, haha!
2) We don't have a permit for the course so parking in the lower section is not gonna happen. Therefore, I'm encouraging everyone to please carpool. If you arrive the morning of with a vehicle of 4 or more, let me know. I'll be giving those of you 3 free mulligans. Once you get there please park in the following manner. I'll hopefully be the first one there. I'll park closest to the portable bathroom. I'd like the next person to park as close to me as you can within reason (please, no door dings, ha). I'm not sure what's directly across the street but if there's parking there I would say use it. Otherwise the next best bet would be the school at the top of the hill. If you're one of the first ones there, parking will not be a problem.
3) Additional mullies can be purchased at $1 each or 7 for $5. Remember, this is a fundraiser for the ADGA so please don't be bashful about purchasing some. I've made it very inexpensive in hopes that everyone buys a few at least.
