No! you may throw any approved superclass disc. But you aren't required to get other discs. I am expecting a lot of people only play with their Zephyr. the innova Super-Nova is a great floater, a little easier to control, but it is much bigger than the Zephyr and doesn't like to stay in the basket when you hit the chains. the list of approved discs is on the main page for the tourney.
