The next two weekends will have some great events coming to Sims Park!! The first is the Winter Series Hosted by Scott Stokely on 12/12/15, which is a bring your own partner doubles event that is a fundraiser for Autism and Special Needs awareness. $60 a team, with each player receiving a players pack that includes a Blue Power Tee and Blue Power MVP Disc Sports Disc. Preregistration and info can be found at stostokely.com. This is a trophy-only tourney, but there will be side games and other prizes included on the day. And it's for charity, so come out and support a great and needed cause.
Then on 12/20, there will be a singles event that will be a non-sanctioned cash payout tourney for all divisions, the Christmas Cash Tournament at Sims Park. $25 a player for all divisions, with 100% payout. There are divisions aligned with PDGA standards, but all divisions will be paid out in cold hard cash, since this is non-sanctioned. This event will also include a few CTPs and ace fund. Cashless pre-registration is available, and you can also walk up day of if interested.
