FYI, I just received word that County/City crews are at Fairmont today doing some tree maintenance work.
They will do their best to not adversely effect the fairways, but first & foremost their responsibility is to make the park safe for all users...
I'm as eager to see their work as anyone. I doubt anything dramatic changes will occur though.
Stay tuned for future opportunities (this fall/winter) to have them address any specicic issues we (disc golfers) identify.
On hole 4, they cut one of the main trees across the road, making the gap easier to hit.
Thank AJ, any other trees of note? They've got a tough job of leaving dead stuff as long as then can, without falling over on top of us. I know they want to take out the dead tree in the middle of the gap/fence on #9... but they're watching it...
