BOTY (birdie of the year):
*Matt Hausotter...from 80ft out on hole 12 at hornings hideout "meadow ridge" course, all air back hand hyzer spike to tree guarded elevated pin with a putter.
*Erik Gyllenskog...from 65ft out on hole 8 at willamette dgc all air forehand through a tree gap to level pin with a putter.
*Travis Pugh...from 115ft out on hole 9 at woodsmansee dgc all air backhand to elevated pin with a putter.
MVP (most valuable player):
*Brandon Whitney....6 green stars on the season including the first ever triple star for our lg...over $100 cashed from current season events...holds the record for waterloo dubs 20 hole layout with Levi at -11.
*Derek Daniels...4 green starts on the season...over $150 cashed from current season events...hit the first payed ace of the season in a pdga event...suffered an injury to right hand mid to late season and continued lefty while still maintaining a 3rd place overall finish...holds the record for longest off hand drive.
*Carl Cleem...11 green stars on the season including the first ever quad star for our lg...over $200 cashed from current season events...holds the record for waterloo singles 20 hole layout at -9.
MIP (most improved player):
*Crystal Wiss...has been playing for 1+ years...cashed $45 on the season, 3 highest placing events were 2nd, 2nd, 3rd...finished 7th overall and is the only female ever to crack the top 8 in any of our lg's.
*Jeremy Coulter...has been playing for 1+ years...cashed $65 on the season, 3 highest placing events were 2nd, 2nd, 2nd...finished 8th overall...is a great guy to play with, always wants to compete and can be considered a "big arm" player.
*Kyle Hite...has been playing for 5+ years...cashed $130 on the season, 3 highest placing events were 1st, 2nd, 2nd...finished 4th overall and has a monster forehand that rivals any player, recently developed a backhand game to become a more complete player.
