There's a Boyne City Parks & Recreation Commission meeting tonight at 6:00pm at City Hall. Item 8D on the agenda below is our request for permission to install one cement tee pad on the Avalanche disc golf course for evaluation, possibly on hole #1, #6, or #9. If approval is granted and we could make it happen and feedback was positive, we could request permission to do more. Otherwise we could just bust it up and remove it and continue with our other tee pad improvements such as baseball diamond dust (crusher fines) and/or carpet or other ideas. That's our current plan and our simple proposal for tonight. The public is welcome to attend these meetings. If you would like to see us try a cement tee pad at Avalanche, or if you would like to ask questions or voice your opinion either way, please come and join us tonight. This is how we've been able to make the improvements you've seen so far (new baskets, etc.) and we have over 100 club members. If this is what you want to see next, please attend with us.
