Will be clearing a few of the downed trees on the course this Saturday. Need a few helpers. We will start between 10 and 11. Please post if you can help. Thank you.
We are talking about the tree that looks like a dead fall right? I have run up on it and jumped up and down on it and it's barely moved. So I agree that it looks and feels secure. I am sure no on expected those trees to fall and twist like they did a few years ago either. Stuff like that ha ...

I just wouldn't want stuff like that to happen and some one get hurt or killed and it was entirely preventable.
At the very least we should discuss it with the group instead of just making an executive decision to dramatically one of the signature holes on the states best course to make it "just another hole"
As little as an out-of-towner's vote counts, I would say cut it. Even though the ADGA would likely not be held liable in the event it fell on someone, I feel it poses a significant safety risk that could easily be eliminated. I also don't feel that the hole gets significantly easier if it's gone. It's gonna come down eventually, just a matter of when.
Well said Pat, my sentiments exactly. Although it is not the tree in question, I will add the ADGA is the minority of users of the course. Recreational players should be considered when making decisions that effect how a hole plays. For "The" tree in question, my suggestion is to cut the t ...

Well said Pat, my sentiments exactly. Although it is not the tree in question, I will add the ADGA is the minority of users of the course. Recreational players should be considered when making decisions that effect how a hole plays. For "The" tree in question, my suggestion is to cut the tree and leave it where it lands and remove the trunk. Ultimately it is for Kincaid management to decide since they pay the park insurance with our recommendation. With all that said, the trees to be removed and used for the tee erosion control project are on #5 (birch left side of hill) and #11 on the left side that has fallen within the last few weeks (I believe).
Bravo guys! Look how long this thread is and no name calling or bullying or foul language for that matter. Just some adults having a discussion on the interwebs. Thank you.
dont move the tree on 11! you know which one i mean, THE tree. It defines that hole.
whatever, that tree wasn't there initially and it needs to go
it is there now and it adds a whole new level of difficulty to the hole.
Let it go. Let it go.
I dont know som, my self and most people i know enjoy that tree being there. It really does add so much to that hole
I agree that it adds to the hole and like having to factor it into my approach to the basket, but would get rid of it on grounds of safety.
i dont really see how its a safety issue. Its really secure

Keep it
First Cecil the lion , and now the tree on hole 11 . What's this world coming to ?
There's a secret emergency bark phone in that tree. It's for safety! I'm
If we are voting, I vote to keep it. If any trouble arises I wouldn't be held liable anyways.
Start a vote! I vote to keep!!!
Keep it
i wish this many people were as passionate about course work
That tree has made this hole almost unbirdiable* I vote for it to go :D
"JUST THROW BETTA"

I like rainbows and gummy bears. With or with out who cares I just want to play disc golf ud83dude00

Yeah....no. A long discussion because of a reply based on an assumption.
exactly
i wasnt assuming you were taking that tree out, the post just said tree removal on hole 11 and i said that tree shouldnt be one of them
I believe AK meant he'd be starting work between 10 and 11 am, not necessarily hole 10 and 11
that would really clean up hole 11 Edan, I am for that = )
