that would be my guess.. i wish they would keep it open as a pay to play. the people would definitely come. but i have no idea the cost of operation and maintenance.. even just a couple weeks per summer would make some $$ being that theyd only have to cut it once and be done with it for the two weeks.
They had all the baskets pulled Saturday except the ones left up for the finals. Who knows when it will be back in, but I know that when it does, I will be there!
Well hopefully someone sees this post and tells them they have the community backing for at least a semi-permanent, potentially pay to play, course.....anyone have their contact info? Maybe we start a petition drive and pass the results on?
The schedule for Worlds said the course was to be removed yesterday (Sunday, 7/26) :( Would love to have played it a few more times.
That's sad...I wonder why they don't have it open more often - liabilities & staffing?

not gonna happen. They just don't see it as a money making operation they would rather host Jeep jambories and stuff of that nature.
