Council member Gerry Horak played an instrumental part in ensuring that 18 holes remained at Edora Park. The city staff proposed a reduction to 9 holes when the new course was opened on Overland. He worked with the Disc Golf Community to focus the City Council and staff to utilize the land east of Edora and worked with the Fort Collins Electric Utility and Platte Power Authority to allow holes to be located around the substation. He has continued being involved in our Parks and Rec Meetings.
