Hello. My name is Greg Miller. I have just started playing disc golf this past summer and immediately got hooked! Since playing most of the courses in the area, I have realized there is quite a distance between the local courses. After talking with a few guys about what it takes to get a course installed, I have been in touch with the Painesville Recreation Department as well as Mickey Anderson, who for the last few years, have been trying to accomplish the same thing. Next month we have a meeting scheduled to finalize the details of putting a disc golf course in Painesville Recreation Park! We have a lot of work ahead of us, but all signs are pointing in the right direction. This winter we will continue to do some fundraising which will involve acquiring donations from local business' and putting on a few fundraising events, the first of which will be a disc golf tournament held at Painesville Recreation Park with temporary baskets on Sunday, November 2nd. I am posting this to raise awareness in the disc golf community and to ask for your support.
