2014 Freestate Doubles Finale

Seneca Creek State Park
If you have played doubles at any of the following participating leagues:
Calvert Road Park (Sun)
Calvert Road Park (Tue)
Ditto Farms DGC (Tue)
Rockburn Branch (Wed)
Heritage Farm Park (Thu)
and you finish in the top 20 (points) at any of these leagues, you are invited to participate in the 2014 Freestate Doubles finale (Champions Division)
Schedule:
8:00 am gates open
8:25 am – 9:15 am player check in
9:15 - 9:30 teams drawn by individual leagues
9:35 players meeting
10:00 round one starts
*please check in as soon as you arrive and before warming up. I would like to get everyone checked in as quickly as possible and try to move the schedule up some.
**The finale will be capped at 72 players
CHAMPIONS DIVISION INFORMATION
Entry fee: $10.00
*after paying overhead costs, any money left over will go towards the payout
Ace Pot: (optional) $1.00
*if no aces are hit during the first round, the ace pot money will be rolled into the payout
Notes:
• Teams will be randomly drawn by individual course (league) and it will be done in groups of four starting with the highest finishers first. For example (Calvert Sundays), players 1 – 4 would be randomly drawn among each other, and then players 5 - 8, and so on. As we near the bottom of the list, it might be necessary to perform the last draw with 6 players instead of four.
• All teams will play holes 1 – 18 during the first round
• After the first round is complete there will be a short break to check the scorecards, and at this point 50% of the field will move on to a final nine and the other 50% will be eliminated.
• The final nine will be played using holes 19 – 27.
• After the final nine and after the scorecards have been checked, the top 50% of this group will qualify for the payout.
• The payout will be done utilizing the PDGA pay table.
• There are also trophy discs for the first through third place teams.

If you have played doubles at any of the following participating leagues and didn’t earn enough points to qualify for the Champions Division, or you just want to come out and play, you are invited to participate in the 2014 Freestate Doubles finale (Field Division).
