A beautiful Fall morning was the scene for alternate shot doubles this week. Here's how the day went. We had a total of 5 teams, 2 doubles teams and 3 solo players, for a super group all on one card. Spouses, Tommy & Angela, were paired together and the other pairing was Jeremy and Cassie. Pat, Jim and Joe played solo this week.
Joe shot a 49 for the weekly win. Pat finished in second with a 56 and Jim was in third with a 59. Tommy and Angela placed 4th and Jeremy and Cassie finished 5th. Highlight for this week was Jeremy's almost ACE! Hole 6, forehand Squall. Flexes out over Warner Street, around the guardian tree line and this is a nice looking shot. Crashing in towards the basket, smashes into the chains and then back out! OUCH!!! Damn practice baskets! Randy - how are those stands coming?
Next week's format is best disc (best score). Rules for best disc are: each player plays the hole as they would while playing singles; there are no shared lies. The team score is the best score on the hole by one of its players.
