Can an Open player pre-reg, skip the round and still have a secure spot even in the unlikely event that Open fills with LCQ players who didn't make the cut in other pools?
That cant be right. Schwass, reread that question. You are saying that a player who registers for the LCQ in Open can skip playing the LCQ round and still have a secured spot in the State Finals in that division regardless of the amount of player who opt to move up/qualify for Open.
If the DMSC has open spots and the # of LCQ players added to the field dose not = 96 then they are in,provided they pay for the DNSC before the LCQ. This works for Pool A B and E at this time. One that # exceeds 96 then players in those Pools must play in the LCQ.
Players must choose which division they are playing for at the LCQ. After the spots are filled with the LCQ players then left over spots are filled with the other LCQ divisions starting with at this point MA2 then MA3.
yes- even not playing gets a spot after LCQ- THEN we fill
in the rest
