Why did the par get set back to all par 3's? I tried to change them to what it says on the score card but then it just changed back a few days later. Just wondering.

the tees are marked with Pars greater than a 3 on some holes to provide a more reasonable par for family-friendly play and recreational use, but when played in doubles leagues, tournaments, or casual rounds by advanced/experience players all holes are played on a par 3 structure.. this is the general method at most courses unless the holes become exceedingly long, in which case a higher par may be assessed.. an assumed par 54, 18 hole course allows for easy of scoring and communication, nobody has to guess what "I shot 2 under par" means, whether the players is assessing that off a par 54, or say a par 58, which i think the tee-posts reads.. sorry for the confusion and trouble Cory, but the par will continually be put back to 54 because of the scoring that needs to occur on the scene for leagues and tourneys.

Ok, thank you. I'm new to the sport so I was trying to figure it out.
No problem man!
