I would like to make it clear that Steve Moore is working with the Parks Department as merely a concerned citizen, and not a representative of Capital City Disc Golf. No agreements are currently being made by CCDG. All CCDG volunteers will still do the same thing we have done in the past, there is no need to go through Steve. Barry Bolliger remains the point of contact for any greenskeeping/course issues. Thank you!

And what is the point of this post, as a disc community we should welcome all those who wish to help whether they are part of your organization. This is what is wrong with capital city disc golf, you only want to take credit and not accept that there are disc golfers who think that your organization is ridiculous but still feel the need to share on your page so that others may hear and see what is going on and possibly get involved in to continue promoting disc golf. so if the club is so self centered on just saying that they shouldn't contact people because your members are involved then share what they are doing to promote disc golf other then run a couple of leagues. Just saying.
Secondly you think that you are the only ones who can work with the city to get Park work done. What do you own the right to all local parks, I had hoped that a change in command would bring intelligence but I wad wrong again.
I am a concerned disc golfer that wants to see our courses maintained properly. I have not claimed in any way to represent CCDG on my task to get things handled. I am a concerned disc golfer that wants to see our courses maintained properly. I have not claimed in any way to represent CCDG on my task to get things handled. I tried thru CCDG 2 years ago after having this same meeting with the Parks supervisor then and long story short, nothing came of it. So now 2 years later I am doing it again on my own at this time and any one that might want to assist and follow me on this journey. I would like to involve all local players, clubs and groups to join in with me if they would like to. If things had been handled properly before we would not even need to have this discussion at this time. Maybe if CCDG kept there courses up to a good playable condition concerned citizens/players like me would not to have to be doing this. Open to any and all comments and discussion, I'm just trying to get something done. Thank you. Steve
Bill, you can't read very well bud. Reading is fundamental.
LAME!
I'm confused, who's ass am I supposed to kiss? Steve or Steve?
I'm just here makin' friends.
I will support anyone who aims to improve our courses. I will not get in between a pissing contest. I get plenty of piss on me a work, I don't want to get pissed on here too.
As I said to Steve in his other thread, I was just clarifying for the sake of our members who volunteer on courses through CCDG. We have a way of tracking hours, and this is not being done through Steve Moore. We also have our own point of contact with the City of Salem. I wouldn't have felt the need to say anything had he not posted his information on Capital City Disc Golf's page.
I definitely appreciate his efforts and hope that he can work with the parks department to get some things done at Woodmansee.
Steve W. I can read and I thought I was clear, Kayla statement " All CCDG volunteers will still do the same thing we have done in the past, there is no need to go through Steve. Barry Bolliger remains the point of contact for any greenskeeping/course issues." if you read this and don' ... more

Barry Bolliger remains the point of contact for any greenskeeping/course issues." if you read this and don't understand that CCDG is all about them and what they benifit from. Now if her response was that we as a club have no been involved in the actions of Steve M. but we would like to be part of the actions being taken to improve the park and keep our course there to play for years to come. I realize that we all have different views and that we all can't work together but when you broadcast a message that basicly states don't listen to the guy we don't have an ifliation with him, that is rude. We as a disc golf community should welcome all the help others are offering and learn to work in conjuction with those who are just trying to help promote the sport.
Steve stated that he was to be the point of contact with the parks department regarding course maintenance, and also that all volunteers needed to contact him. These statements are both false, and needed to be clarified for the club members. You attacking me in a public manner is rude, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. I don't even know you. Please keep your wildly ridiculous claims to yourself and stop harassing me as well as CCDG.
See you are not the type of person that should be in charge of the club, if you only had the maturity to understand your actions and your wording. I.E better park maintance and people ant to promote and donate their time to the disc golf community.
Bill, you can reach out to John Kleeman. John Kleeman is the City of Salem Parks Operations Supervisor that Steve Moore met with. Bill, you can reach out to John Kleeman. John Kleeman is the City of Salem Parks Operations Supervisor that Steve Moore met with. Kayla reached out to him and found out what John approved Steve Moore to do and what Steve Moore said he was approved to do were not one and the same. John said Steve Moore could do a few specific things, and in no way gave him approval authority for any park related or volunteer related activities. There is no City of Salem requirement for anyone to go through Steve Moore for anything.
I find it interesting that for not being there someone seems to know more about what went on and was said then I do, and I thought I was there. Let's just get along and again if this had been handled properly 2 years ago after meeting with parks folks, we would not be wasting time and energy now on it. Sorry if people feel I stepped on their toes or hurt their feelings, just trying to get something accomplished for the good of us all. Good night to all
Just played woodmansee and it looks fantastic, Thanks Steve
