FYI we called up to sunnybrook yesterday and the guy who answered hmm hawed about us being able to play, then he said we could only play 11 until 2 today. then we called back today just to make sure, and the same guy said we COULDN'T play. then we called him out on it, and he changed his tune and said we could. This place doesn't seem very welcoming to disc golfers. WE are going to Stony Creek instead.

The transistion from ball golf to ball/disc golf is a challenging endevour at best. Patience, a positive approach and professional attitude will go a long way in the acceptance process with both encountered ball golfers and the Sunnybrook staff. Having played here a couple times, I have also found the staff a bit unaccomodating, but were quickly turned around by "killing them with kindness". Sunnybrook is a very unique disc golf opportunity. I am sure John can address some of your concerns, but he is tied up currently with the monumental task of running back to back Tier A and a major disc golf championship. I am sure you handled it well, and please continue to do so for the benefit of the rest of the disc golf community.
