I played the course over the weekend and noticed multiple families and other pedestrians who were not disc golfing just walkingdown the fairways oblivious to the fact that people are aiming to throw discs right where they are walking. I feel concerned about this, because both of the group's I saw had little kids with them. Is the park doing anything to inform non disc golfers that they should stay off the course for safety reasons? I am mostly talking about holes 5 and 6.
just yell at them
the park hasnt done anything and probably wont they have posted some signs where to walk on the paths but other than that i doubt they will do anything
I have the same problem at cass sometimes when it is busy
this is really annoying at wickes! even if you yell at them they seem to not pay any attention to it and continue to stay right in the fairways
The problem with wickes is that before it was a disc golf course it was a walking/dog/cross country park. So all those people think is we made it clearer for them. Now for specifically hole 5 and 6, the only thing I can say is its clear walking without going though the woods. Mitch I agree, they are dumb and safety is important, but the way this course is I doubt it will change
